Welcome to

TU-CUBIN-NOONIE LODGE #508

We are a vital part of the Utah National Parks Council #591 located in Central and Southern Utah and includes parts of Arizona, and Nevada.  (See Map)

We are located in the midst of many of our nations most spectacular National Parks and Monuments including Zion, Cedar Breaks, Canyonlands, Bryce, Arches, Natural Bridges, Capitol Reef, Dinosaur, and others.  Many State Parks are also located in our Council Area.

Tu-Cubin-Noonie is from the Piute language and is interpreted "You are my friend".  The lodge greeting is "Tu-Cubin-Noonie" meaning You are my Friend. (Response) "Noonie-Tu-Cubin" meaning I am your friend. (Both replying) "Iooie, Iooie" meaning all is well, all is well.

Our totem is the Cougar, also know as Puma, Mountain Lion, Panther, Painter and an few lesser known names.  The Cougar is abundant in our area, however the animals are seldom seen by man.  If you spot one in the wilds you should consider yourself very fortunate.

Our section is W5d, consisting of Awaxaawe' Awachia, Tu-Cubin-Noonie, Shunkah Mahneetu, and El-Ku-Ta Lodges.  Naturally we are a part of the Western Region.
